Golfing in Sweden

I’ve made it to Stockholm, Sweden. I’m here to play in a pro-am tomorrow and meet with a new business partner (if you’re interested, I’m now distributing these rangefinders in Australia).

I was met at the airport by Marcus Fabricius, he’s an entrepreneur and a professional motor racing driver. Marcus was a bit concerned when we he saw the size of my golf bag – he didn’t think it would fit in his car. When he told me he was driving a sports car he wasn’t kidding. It’s a Corvette Z06 6T3 (at least that’s what I think he said it was)

Marcus and his Corvette

I’ll give you a run down on how the golf goes tomorrow. Should be lots of fun.

    Hi Cam
Wonderful post. Please also thank Evan for:
    – Being so honest admitting to previously being the “golf victim/freak”.
    – Being where he is today (re automation).
As discussed with you a number of times over the phone or E-MAIL, I was similar to however quite as bad as Evan. Well that is my opinion.
Best wishes to all involved in your almost there Melbourne Golf Workshop. Can’t wait to hear the results from the Workshop. Sorry I couldn’t be in Melbourne for it.
Hopefully I am heading in Evan’s direction. However, realise I don’t think I am anywhere near where Evan is. However (that word again), I am excited and looking forward to the future.
Again best wishes for the “Mexico” Workshop.
    Bernie

    Hi
Found you blog by accident but since I play golf in Sweden I think it would be great if you could let us know where you played and what you thought about the courses here. I guess the grass in Australia gets more sun and are a little bit more robust.

    Cheers
    Richard

Hi cam, are you still involved with these or do you know of another brand to recommend?

There was some talk of Golfgooroo supplying them here in OZ but nothing has eventuated just yet. You can check out the Bushnell range, they are also very good. I would recommend NOT going with the cheap and cheerful models that can be found on Ebay etc.
