Golf is a skill like most others. That is, we can throw, ride and drive a car well. We perform these tasks automatically. Yep, I know we’ve been doing these kinda things since we were kids, but how long have you been playing golf?

Most of the people that drop by here have been playing golf for 5, 10, 20 and even 50 years! This is more than enough time to learn a decent golf game. So here’s my point.

[testimonial1_arial author=””]“Your issue isn’t that you don’t have a good enough golf game. You do, and this is proven by the fact that you play well some of the time. Your biggest problem is not understanding that golf is a stupid ole’ skill like all others. When you treat it as such you’ll be able to unlock your consistent A-game more of the time.”[/testimonial1_arial]

It sounds easy I know but traditional golf instruction has gotten all fancy pants. Instead of making things simpler, the plethora of instruction just gets in the way.

From here golf becomes a merry-go-round of poor scores and growing frustration. The worse you play, the more information you feed your system. You eventually overload and start to resent the game. Sadly, there aren’t too many that are questioning this approach. If anything, there has been an explosion of quick-tips, fixes and learning methodologies. Has any of this helped you?
