Please don’t three-putt.

It’s easy to focus on what we don’t want. We can get all caught up on the bad things and forget about what it is we’re trying to do.

Makes sense. Though improvement happens when you have a goal then work toward it, like shooting par. Or breaking 80. You set a goal then you work towards it. Once you reach it, you are a success. As earl nightingale put it, “success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal. If that man has a goal and knows where he’s going, that man is a success.” Cameron look up earl nightingale the strangest secret. Youll find it useful.

Mainly you should focus on the main goal, which is shooting the lowest score you can. Take note of what you shoot, then work toward breaking that barrier by trying to shoot a lower score. You can practice chipping. You can try to draw the ball. Experiment with different shots. Work on your swing if you want, but repeat it enough to where it becomes automatic, to where you dont have to think about how, youre just swinging. Work on one thing at a time.

Set a goal then reach for it. Youll make mistakes so learn from them, and move on. Once you reach that goal, you are a success.
