The first golf ball has been struck

It’s official! We (Clare, Koda and myself) have finally made the big move into our new home (Golf Farm) on the Sunshine Coast. The weather has been bloody hot and we’ve had a mountain of things to do. But we’re getting there and excited about the upcoming year.

I even managed to find some time to hit some balls – not too many as the boss had the whip out very quickly.

There was even time to pat the horses next door.

Koda is loving it. The crazy hound thinks he’s in Disneyland and loves chasing the horses and swimming in the mud pool. Certainly a change from city living.

That’s about it for now. I’ll keep you up to date with how things are progressing and hope you can swing by for a golf lesson soon. I’m off to clear the property of horse poo. There’s so much of it it isn’t funny. Here’s the first load…

only 68 loads to go!

P.S. The little Golfgooroo isn’t far away. Only 2 weeks to go. It’s all happening!

Congratulations! You’re the only coach I’ve run across who’s teaching the right stuff. Keep up the good work and say hi and welcome from me to the little Golfgooroo upon arrival.

From a green keeper/gardener, point of view, you should mow the manure into the ground.

Cam, are you ever on the sunshine coast? We can trade your skills for some lessons and golf.
