3 very important golf principles

I consider the following 3 golf principles absolutely vital. And they are especially true if you’re the kind of golf who want to:

– play with way more enjoyment and satisfaction
– use golf as a learning vehicle (so you continue to get better and better)
– want to take your golf game as far as it will take you (I think too many of us over-estimate what we can do today, but completely under-estimate how we can be over the journey)

Anyway, I shot the below video on the way to golf the other week and I think you’ll get something out of it.

If you want to order reboot, you can do so here.

Reboot is solid information. I’d suggest it to anyone who really wants more out of their game, and who want a solid mental game which will help you play under pressure and better even in casual rounds. It’s excellent information and would suggest a purchase.

Golf reboot is a fantastic way to get your game on track. I ordered it and it only reinforces what Cam has taught me.
Its simple and easy to follow. We get distracted by so many different things on a golf course and become so far way from our object ( hit ball to x spot) that we don’t ever really play golf at all. We play golf swing or golf distraction never Golf itself.
Great work Cam, keep at it.

I think the short game is also important.

People don’t pay enough attention to this. I’m guessing because practicing short game is boring. It’s not as exciting as hitting 250 yard drives and smashing irons at the pin. I know if I took extra time to practice short game I’d be better.

It’s boring compared to the full swing, but this is half the game we’re talking about. No wonder people are 15-20 handicap, they don’t even look at the chipping green.

My handicap dropped from 18 to 10, simply by improving this part of my game. Then with Cameron’s help it dropped to 8 using his mental game ideas. But my short game still needs work, I only get up and down 27 percent. If I can get it to 50%, I’ll be money.

I think reboot is more mental game than anything else. That’s what I got from it, and it works for sure. I’m just surprised Cam hasn’t talked more about the short game over the years.

Still good stuff from reboot. I really enjoy the lessons, and it really helped me get my game back to where it was before I fell off the rails.
