How to become a great golfer

The Internet is full of information on golf. You only need spend a few minutes and you can find hundreds (yes hundreds) of golf websites all promising the same thing.

Instant gratification and improvement.

Now you’ve got to be careful here because there is a huge difference between marketing hype and reality. It takes years (not minutes) to get really good at something. There’s no other way.

This doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a good game in the process. You can. Great golf evolves over the journey. You should in fact get a little bit better each time you play.

But only if you don’t keep expecting a miracle cure. And it’s this reason why automatic golf is so important. All the practice and those hours spent on the golf course add up. If you want to be a great golfer it’s good not to be in a hurry. Take your time. And watch out for those promising more than they can deliver.
